Nikitta Sivakumar narrated the story keeping in view of the conditions prevailed in India. She is right in presenting a picture of the village having no minimum civic needs of the people. But of late, the villages are improving thanks to the implementation of Government schemes. The author has selected a village 'Malgudi' in Tamilnadu, India. She might have impressed the stories of great story teller Sri R.K.Narayan.
