The Statue

As the babysitter watched the parents pulled out of the driveway she turned around to see the children. They then went into the living room to watch a movie. Halfway through the movie they heard sounds coming from the kitchen. The babysitter paused the movie and went to see what it was. She only saw the window was open and a pot blew over from the rainy wind. Picking up the pot she turned around.
AAAAAh! The lights went out and the little girl screamed. When the babysitter found a flashlight the smallest girl was gone. The babysitter turned the whole house upside down but failed to find her. She searched everywhere but the attic.
She flew up the stairs to the opening in the attic. Looking around she saw; old paintings, boxes full of photos and books, bags of small clothes, a clown statue, and a small little blanket draped over a figure.
The babysitter went over to the blanket with horror of what might be under it. Pulling it up she saw a body, dead. The smallest girl lay on the ground. She had a knife driven threw her.
Screaming the babysitter felt a cold hand on her shoulder turning around she saw the clown statue. She then fell to the ground with a knife in her back and a shrill laugh was heard behind her.
This was the end of her babysitting career.
