The seven drawers

by Jodie Clay
(Whipton Exeter)

On one Sunday night it was the first offical week that my friend's grand parents had moved into there new house. In the house there were seven drawers attached to the wall, but one of the drawers would not open, it was just fixed there like somebody was holding it back.

Sunday night her grandparents stayed up and at 11:30 her grandad went to bed and about 12:15 her grandma went up too. When she went up she thought she could see a figure in the corner of the room but she just ignored it and got into bed next to her husband. The next morning she woke up and her husband was still lying there so she shook him but he could not move so she turned him over and beneath him was a dryed puddle of blood with a knife through the bed going up through so she would not know, and she screamed and ran out of the house and called the police.

Later on that day they came round and investigated the room and they found the seventh drawer in the wall open with a small note saying
"I got him. I'm going to get her if you don't get out of my house now!", but the note was written in blood but not his blood. The woman found a cut on the back of her leg and realized that the figure in the room wasn't her imagination it was real and it had just killed her husband and was going for her next.

Later on that day they moved out and the house was demolished.
