Who'd have thought that Call of Duty 3 was so educational?

Exceptional by: Gladys
On the whole this was a very, very, good story, I really enjoyed reading it. What was so marvelous for me was that you mentioned how proud you were to be fighting for your country as did so many of our real soldiers in the war. I felt that the story ended prematurely that it could be continued.
I think young man that you could have a career in the media as I felt your vocabulary was exceptional. I look forward to seeing ' another episode' in what could be a saga!
very well done!!

Well Done! by: Gilbert
This is a really well written story and I was impressed with the accuracy of your descriptions of the guns. Were you aware that in reality ' The Great War' was in fact WW1 and not 2? As your story was fiction it really doesn't matter but I just thought I would point this out to you!!

Fascinating. Jane London by: Anonymous
I loved the way Henry started this story about he war in general and informed the reader of the background. Fascinating details about the guns made it seem very real and I was totally involved in what became a gripping personal tale. What happened to John Sparrow? I'd love to know.

speechless by: Irene Henry
Well as one Henry to another I would like for you to know that I was left speechless at the end of reading your work. (Speechless is something I am not very often!) How very clever to write this in the first person and to have such powers of description and clarity of scene was fantastic. I really had a visual in my mind after reading.
My Mother had relatives fight in the War so it was of particular interest to have this knowledge of circumstance and environment described so clevely by a young man. Very well done and keep on writing, looking forward to more of your work being published.

Another episode please! by: Nan
What I found amazing about this story was that a child had written it. It really gave me food for thought, for as a rule children are more interested in 'Dr Who' and 'Star Wars' type stories. Being a child he would have had, I presume, no experience of war in this country nor his parents, therefore he had researched his character carefully and was very descriptive with regard to weapons, obviously having researched these too.
I did not want the story to end and my feeling is that this story could be continued. Well done young man!
