The Evil Witch

by Ireland Lehart
(Galion, Ohio, United States)

This isn't where she's buried

This isn't where she's buried

A long time ago I used to live by a cemetery. There was a grave that was really old and was far away from all of the others.

We made up a story that when the town was first started there was a witch. All of the citizens decided one day to hang her because she was a witch. Then, when it came time to bury the witch they put her in a far corner so that whoever was buried there wouldn't be effected by her evil magic and rise from the dead.

I don't live by there anymore but I'll still tell the tale of the Evil Witch.
