by Justin, age 10

Bearded Vulture

Bearded Vulture

Deep in the heart of a forest on a cold winter’s night, you’re by yourself in a log cabin all alone. Your parents are gone to get some fire wood but they’re not home yet. You look at the clock it’s nearly 7:00pm.

You decide to go look for your parents but you hesitate at the door for few moments. You remember rumors you heard about people disappearing due to a giant bird called the Thunder Bird but it’s just a rumor. So you ignore the thought.

Just as you are coming out the door you hear flapping. It’s coming closer and closer till BAM!!! you are knocked down.

Then you look up, right there was a giant bird but there was no time to watch GRAB!!! the bird got you in its beak!!!! You start to punch and kick the bird till finnaly the bird gives up and drops you, but now you’re falling at the speed a 150mph through the sky. You wait for your doom to come but it never came. Then snap!!! everything disappears in a flash.

Then you wake up wheeww it was all a dream!!!!!
