One night a young couple was driving home from a party. They didn’t feel like heading straight home so the boyfriend said “Let’s go for a drive.” His girlfriend agreed so they set off down a lonely rocky country road and was soon far from any houses and got deeper into the remote bush-land.

Suddenly the car hit a fallen tree across the middle of the road. It had startled the couple when the car jolted to a stop; they had not seen the tree in time. The boyfriend said “I’d better take a look to see if there’s any damage.” The girlfriend shivered with apprehension as it was so dark outside. “Be careful” she exclaimed.

After a while the boyfriend came around to the window. “The tree we hit has damaged the car badly and we won’t be able to drive it. I will need some help to fix it. I thought I saw a light on a few miles back so I will go and see if I can get help.” His girlfriend said “No It’s too dangerous.” He replied “Don’t worry I’ll be fine, anyway we have no choice”.

The girl said, “I’m coming with you”. “No you stay here and lock all the doors and keep the windows shut and no matter what, promise me you won’t get out of the car”. The girl felt very fearful but agreed to do as he said. More then an hour passed and still no sign of the boyfriend. The girl began to worry and thought about getting out and looking for her boyfriend.

Then she remembered the promise she had made him and decided to wait. She turned the radio on to keep her mind off the rising fear. The only station she could pick up was the boring local country station. She listened to a few songs until a special new broadcast came on.

There was a story about an escapee from a local insane asylum. People were warned to lock all their doors and windows, as this deranged escapee was considered extremely dangerous. The girl became even more fearful, but decided to stay and wait for her boyfriend.

She must have dozed off for awhile, as she was awakened by a loud “tap, tap, tap” on the roof of the car. Startle she peeked out the window to see if it was her boyfriend, but all she could see was darkness. The sound came again tap…………..tap………….tap, she said to herself “what is that.”

To the recent events that had happened she could not pull herself together to get out and see what it was. The sound continued tap…………tap…………tap, it had went on for some time.

All of a sudden she had been blinded by the red and blue lights flashed in front of the car. She had hesitated to go because it may be unsafe. Then she heard a voice on a megaphone “you in the car, I want you to listen carefully I am a police officer, get out of the car and walk towards me it is important you exactly what I say. Are you in danger? You must get out of the car and whatever you do don’t look back.”

She heard the noise again, tap...........tap……….tap. shaking with terror she slowly opened the car down. She stumbled out of the car, and the police officer said “that’s it ,don’t make any sudden movement and remember whatever you do DON’T LOOK BACK!” she speed up hear pace as got closer the police car and as almost reached the car, she couldn’t help herself she turned around .
There on the roof of the car there stood a man like figure of a man hold a stick, on the end of the stick she saw with great horrific horror her boyfriends severed head, then the man like figure banged the head on the roof of the car tap………tap……….tap.
