Submit your child's short stories

This site has a purpose other than just having hundreds of children submit short stories to be read on-line. It's very much about helping parents coach their children through the exercise of writing.

In the process, the children and parents have a lot to gain. I hope you will appreciate this motivation as you move forward.

The easiest way for you and your youngster to post your child's story is to copy it from your word-processing program and paste it into my submission forms.

Remember, however, that we are talking about original works. Parents must teach children that copying the work of others is not right.

It's always a good idea to create your story in any of several wordprocessors or text editing programs

and then paste it elsewhere when ready... for two reasons.

First, you will be able to save copies and print it for reading away from your computer and second, my submission form is a web-page, and it may time-out or expire. If that happens, your hard work would all be lost.

Before proceeding, please read our simple writing guidelines and policies and guidelines. In a nut-shell they tell you that this is always intended to be a safe site for you and your children and that we are accepting stories from those under the age of 15.

When you and your child are all set to go, and have reviewed the elements of a short story and our collection of writing tips, then...
