Shadowy Figure

Was it a ghostly encounter?

It all started when I was about 5, and my 3 cousins and my Aunt all got into a car accident. They got hit by a semi near Marlette Michigan. My aunt and the middle child died, and my other two cousins lived. We ended up living in their house, and taking care of her kids, all since the accident.

A few years later, everything was getting better and they were all doing well, but then weird stuff started going on in the house. First, it just started to get really cold. Then you start seeing things in the corner of your eye.

The weirdest thing that happened was when I was sitting down stairs; I started hearing someone pacing back and forth upstairs. At first I ignored it, didn't think anything of it. Just went back to watching TV, but then I started hearing it again. This time I went up stairs to check it out, but I didn't see anything.

I started walking back downstairs when I heard the bathroom sink turn on. Now I was starting to get a bit nervous so I went into the bathroom. No one was in there but the water was turned on. I walked over and shut it off. Then walked back down stairs. When I looked at the bottom of the stairs, I saw a shadowy figure standing at the end of the staircase. I started to freak! And ran upstairs.

I never saw the figure again but we moved from the house.
