There is no catch and you can opt out of the newsletter at anytime. However, if you do subscribe, you'll get exclusive content that may not be available via the web-site itself. The email list is still growing and we may issue our first update shortly.
My RSS feed does a great job of displaying story publications, but I also want to keep you up to date on trends, story reviews, parenting tips, and additions to the site that our readers suggest. Send in your questions. Let's review other sites, what have you.
As the site grows, I'll be able to send out Get Writing as we gain more content. We are always looking for ways to improve the site and you can be a part of that process.
You can rest assured that your young ones will be able to visit over and over again and see their stories on-line. The site will never contain anything offensive.
All submissions are read by me and I'll have to fire myself if bad stuff gets through. I am very particular about profanity. Even some phrases our youth may find cool, but are derived from sayings less acceptable, I find offensive and will remove.
Also, when a writer has toyed with the site, has blatantly submitted profanity, or is overly cruel to authors, I have the ability to ban he or she from returning. We can track IP addresses.
