Mental Charlie

Running like a crazy man
A long time ago there lived a man named Charlie. He always wore his favorite green rugged sweater. He was a mentally unstable man who lived with his wife, Lisa, in the middle of the woods. They had a small dirty cabin that was full of sorrow.
One day Lisa became very ill and grew weaker. Charlie, being in a mental condition, tried as much as he could to take care of Lisa. Lisa knew that she was dying and there was nothing Charlie could do about it. She knew that no one would be able to take care of Charlie and he would slowly die also. Charlie couldn't remember to feed himself or give himself his medicine.
Lisa begged Charlie to contact an old doctor they had once known to help Charlie, but he refused. Charlie started yelling screams and throwing fits, trying not to accept the concept that he would shortly be one his own. Lisa was all he had and all he was.
Charlie started going out of control and Lisa was too weak to stop him. He took his big swollen hands and started to choke Lisa. He couldn't control his anger and had no idea what he was doing. Within a few seconds Lisa was dead.
He started to panic and didn't know what to do. He started shaking her thinking that she would wake up. After several tries he gave up. He took her body and buried it behind the cabin. He started yelling Lisa's name and running around like crazy as if he had not realized what he had done. He started running deeper into the woods and eventually got lost.
He had no idea where he was. He began yelling Lisa's name again and again. There was no answer. Days past and Charlie had died alone and cold at night. The animals ate his remains and the cabin eventually started falling apart.
Rumor has it that if you are ever walking in the woods at night and say "Mental Charlie" five times fast you will see a quick glimpse of an older man in a green sweater running frantically yelling Lisa's name.
