Don't get Distracted

Have you ever had a friend or family member that gets distracted? Well if you haven't then never and I mean never tell them to do something for you. Say for example that you want them to look for something you'll find them twenty minutes later playing with shades or talking to the person you like. This has happened to me.

I was walkin' down the school's hall and I met up with my friend Lizzy. Last time I asked her to get me a piece of paper for my homework. Guess what she did? She walked over to the teacher and asked him to get a piece of paper! I felt so embarassed. The teacher Mr. Johnston got so mad that he wished to talk to me outside. He started yelling at me about how I shouldn't use friends!

Another example is with my family member Jake. He is twelve years old, one year older than I am. So I asked him to get me a drink of water and he went to his bedroom and fell asleep! The rest of the night I had a dry throat.

And guess why they didn't listen to me? Do you know why? Because I didn't say "Please!"
