Death glows
A man, who I found out later was called Jerry, was staying there for 2 nights. The first night, he woke up perfectly normal. He explored for the whole day and came across a strange tree. He couldn't put his finger on why it was odd, it just sent a shiver up his spine. He ran away to have supper. They say it's haunted, the old forest. I should know. After supper, it had gotten dark, but Jerry went back to the spine tingling tree. To his astonishment, it was glowing, illuminating the area as clear as day. He felt a terrible freezing sensation down his spine which was too horrible to stand. He fled. The tree ceased its glowing. They say it's haunted, the old forest. I should know. When he got back to his tent, his spine was still tingling most terribly, yet he had no trouble getting to sleep. About 3 hours later, a passer-by came along, and saw a glowing plasma floating above... nothing. The tent and Jerry had vanished! The passer-by felt a tingle in his spine and hurried on.
