Bratty tweens can make you blow your top, so take a break, and have some fun learning what you might do differently

Blowing you top

This is a light-hearted look at parenting for you moms and dads struggling with bratty tweens and young gradeschoolers.

It helps with bringing up youngsters in today's complex world of marketing hype, peer pressure and behavioural issues.

I often use the analogy of writing short stories to show you how to focus a child's attention and efforts, and that's why the site is called Short Stories Help Children.

Bunch of dirty kids Behavioural issues are not always something to be fixed in bratty tweens, so you may find I occasionally give you a slap on the wrist for falling into everyday traps.

And have you ever thought that your relatives and friends might have something to do with your little darling's behaviour?

The site includes:

Flame boy I'll pass along many common sense views on parenting. My idea is that many parents may not be able to see the forest for the trees, and have been led to believe that today's 'accepted parenting techniques' will stand the test of time. Clearly, learning from the professionals can be a confusing undertaking if you have tried it, and this site lets you hear another point of view in terms you can understand.

Your site has to be the richest resource I've come across, ever. Keep up the good work."

Welcome, enjoy and visit often!

Phil
